SATURDAY, JANUARY 14, 2012

Luis Villaseñor, James Haynes, Cisco, Wakco

the Magician, Dillion Garcia, Richard Villa, and DJ

Cooch rocked an audience of 200 for the Sí Se Puede

Comedy Slam on January 14 at RCC’s Landis

auditorium. The showcase, filled with hilarious

bits and one liners, mixtures of sarcasm, satire,

parody, and magic… made for an fun night full

of laughs. The show was as good as the incentive

to go see it… to support fundraising for the

Cesar E. Chavez memorial planned for

completion by the end of 2012.

PAUL RODRIGUEZ & LOS LOBOS
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2011
at the Riverside Fox Theater
Saturday evening, December 3rd, comedian Paul Rodriguez and Grammy award winning group Los Lobos performed at the Fox Performing Arts Center. Latino Network hosted a pre and post concert reception for special guests. Ignacio Gomez, the sculptor commissioned to design the Chavez monument, was on hand prior to the show to speak about his vision for the monument. Following the concert, Los Lobos attended a meet and greet to sign autographs and take photos with fans. Overall, the successful event, attended by 1200, was full of positive energy and is a preview of additional great events to come in support of the Cesar E. Chavez memorial.

Thank you for visiting our PAST EVENTS page
to see what we've been up to. ¡Sí, Se Puede!
We are well on our way to raising the approximately $350,000 cost of erecting a monument of an American Hero. The Sí Se Puede club, additional generous donors, small personal fundraising events by community members, larger Latino Network fundraisers... all are adding up to bring us closer to our goal. MUCHAS GRACIAS to all who have supported our various fundraiser events to make the Cesar E. Chavez memorial a reality.
