Her community involvement has included work with Peace4Kids and the Youth Justice Coalition, as well as serving as a Parent Board Member for Los Angeles Unified School District’s District 7. For several years, she has also volunteered with the City of Los Angeles Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department’s Volunteer Corps, supporting efforts to advance equity and opportunity throughout Los Angeles.

After moving to Riverside, Veronica immediately sought ways to become involved in her new community. She was selected for the inaugural UNIDOS Inland Empire Leadership Institute cohort and is currently a member of the 2026 Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) Leadership Institute class, where she continues to deepen her work in civic leadership, policy, and advocacy for Latinas and their communities.

Veronica earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Long Beach. Professionally, she works in healthcare sales throughout the Inland Empire. Across her professional and community work, Veronica remains committed to expanding representation, opportunity, and economic mobility for Latino communities.
