Jenny Cisneros is a dedicated educator, community advocate, and proud Riverside resident with more than 15 years of experience in education. Having called Riverside home since the age of 11 and attended Riverside schools herself, Jenny has built her career around serving the students, families, and community that helped shape who she is today.

Throughout her career, Cisneros has served as a teacher, Teacher on Special Assignment, as an English Language Learner Coordinator, and, for the past eight years, as an administrator. Her work has centered on supporting the diverse needs of students and families, expanding access to opportunities, and ensuring that all students have the resources and support needed to thrive.

Jenny proudly embraces her bilingual and bicultural identity and her Mexican and Cuban heritage. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to advocacy, representation, and creating opportunities for the Latino community.

Cisneros has been actively involved with Riverside Latino Network for more than five years, volunteering at events and supporting its mission before officially joining the Board of Directors. She now proudly serves on the Executive Board as Secretary. Her community leadership also includes two terms on the Board of the Riverside Association of School Managers (RASM).

Jenny and her husband are proud parents of two beautiful daughters, ages 18 and 22. She enjoys traveling, music, concerts, food, art, and exploring Riverside and beyond.

For Cisneros, service means uplifting others, strengthening community, and ensuring the next generation sees what is possible. She is proud to give back to Riverside and to help create greater access, opportunity, and representation for nuestra gente.
