Desiree Rivera graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a major in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Education. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Counseling and Guidance from the California State University, San Bernardino. Desiree currently works for RCCD’s Norco College campus as an Outreach Specialist for the Upward Bound programs. She also serves on the Service Council for WESTOP’s Southern California Chapter. Desiree previously worked as an administrative assistant for Nati Fuentes Centro de Ninos, which she attended herself as a child. Desiree has a passion for social justice and education and intends to continue to serve her community and underrepresented populations.
