Leadership Institute

Latino Network’s Leadership Institute (LNLI), provides a 4-day academy for 25 high school Latino/a students from Riverside County.  The objective of the Latino Network Leadership Institute (LNLI) is to provide an opportunity for senior high school and first year college students to learn from and network with local community leaders. Art presents great opportunities to convey our common place humanity, contest assumptions, inspire discussion, connect diverse people, envision new solutions, and encourage action for positive change. Participants will gain an understanding of the principles used to influence change within their community through Art, review the concept of ethical leadership and explore the role and obligations of committing to a cause and standing up for what one believes in, how Art discovers, reflects on, and promotes for social issues. The educational and vocational experiences shared by presenters will expose participants to the various forms of leadership utilized in their everyday lives and illustrating accomplishments and future visions. Participants will be provided a series of quality workshops, dynamic speakers, networking opportunities, and certificates of participation and legislative recognition. This institute requires commitment and dedication to service. The institute will be held in person. Selected applicants MUST attend all sessions.
