Gabriela Plascencia attended community college where she earned an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. Gabriela transferred to Cal State Dominguez Hills where she majored in Psychology and minored in Spanish. Gabriela then went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Marriage Family and Child Counseling. She worked for Riverside Unified School District for five years and she is currently working for Alvord Unified School District as a School Counselor. Gabriela believes in civic engagement and is passionate about youth mentoring.
