Norma Sanchez Board Member

Norma is employed as a Corporate Relations Specialist for United Way of the Inland Valleys. She began her career with United Way 11 years ago as a volunteer, that same year 2008 she won Volunteer of the year and the following year received the Community Star award. In the pass 11 year Norma has taken on a few positions: Account Executive, Manager and Director of Work Place Giving. She believes her current position as Corporate Relations Specialist is where she has done the most good for United Way, by working with Work Place Giving Campaign, the funds she has raised has helped improved the lives of many in our community. United way has allow her to fight for education financial stability and housing.

Norma and her Husband Gabriel Sanchez are owners of SANACO Electronic Sales, a manufacturing Rep. Firm for a circuit boards manufacturer. They have been in business for 15 years.

Norma was born in Boyle Heights CA. and came to Moreno Valley in 1989, she has been married to Gabriel for thirty years and they have two adult children Sarah and Michael. They have one grandson who is the light of their life, his name is Jack. She is open to serving on boards and becoming an outreach volunteer in the Riverside Region. Past volunteer activities have been: Painting houses for veteran’s, making hundreds of snack packs for homeless children, as well cleaned parks, beaches and volunteer at her children’s schools when they were growing up.
